They could be useful in giving you ideas about shape and form and how their use affected their design. Close up photographs of materials used may also give you ideas on texture. You may decide to use the recording sheet provided below which has enough space for sketches and notes. |

Part 2. Using Internet sites Site 1. The buildings you have just explored are just a small selection of what you can see at Avoncroft, there is also a windmill, toll house, nail shop and prefab to name but a few which you can see when you visit the museum for yourself. contains wonderful images of Roman mosaics. Site 5. This is another massive collection of just about everything architectural. Site 6. This great buildings site allows you to search for any building in the world! In addition to the sites above, you can use a search engine such as Google and type in the buildings name. |

| Moving
on (Recording sheet) a sheet which might help you develop your ideas and have information to discuss with your teacher. The sheet has lots of room for sketches and notes.. One of the most important decisions you will need to make is what materials you intend using, clay, paper, metal, wood etc. Filling in this sheet will give you lots to discuss with your teacher. |
