Evaluation

This WebQuest has focused on 3 main aspects

• To consolidate the concept of settlement by giving children a scenario which involves them in manipulating, structuring and re-structuring information; reasoning, and decision making.

• To make deductions from different sources eg. maps / place names / photographs.

• To make connections between information provided from more than one resource, and to evaluate its usefulness to the task at hand.

Each teacher will have their own assessment procedures to assess the progress of individual children.
