The Task

Write a  monthly diary about your experiences from the time that you were evacuated four months ago. This will be a time of your life that you will remember forever and hope to share with your own children and grandchildren, like your own grandfather talked about his childhood with you.

In groups of 4 or 5,  you will need to consider the following points

How did you feel when you found out that you were going to be evacuated?	What is it it like in your new home in the country?
What was your journey like?	What is your new family like?
Do you miss your home and family?	What is school like?
What new things have you seen?	What do you do in your spare time?
How are you affected by the rationing?

You will be recording your diary onto audio tape and therefore need to write it as if it is being spoken!
