You are an evacuee in the second world war. Four months ago you were given a letter at school saying that evacuation from your home in Central London would take place in 3 days time. You had never been away from home before. After a sad farewell to your Mother you went on a five hour train journey with hundreds of other children, finally to arrive in a small village in Wales.
 
You are now living with your new family in the country and 4 months have passed. How might you be feeling about your new life? What might your life be like compared to the one you left behind in London?
 How do you think your Mother would be feeling back in London?
