Below is the information from the QCA document on assessment of the targeted objectives for this unit.

most pupils will: be able to select and combine information from different sources when researching and describe aspects of the monastic life.

some pupils will not have made so much progress and will: be able to extract some information from contemporary sources; describe some aspects of the lifestyle of medieval monks and nuns.

some pupils will have progressed further and will; be able to evaluate sources of information and identify those that are useful for researching into aspects of the medieval church and show an understanding of the differences between the orders of monastic groups.
